The antler and reindeer motifs in the 'Saaga' series are inspired by nature and ancient Lappish cave paintings.  Both the antler and reindeer motifs are quintessentially Lappish referencing the legendary Icelandic sagas that form a significant part of Finland's Lappish culture and identity. The reindeer and antler motifs are rendered in ice cool Nordic grey mirroring the snowy Lappish landscape.  Saaga tableware will add a unique Nordic atmosphere to your interiors and table settings.

The Pentik Saaga crockery range is designed and made in Posio (Finnish) Lapland.  Pentik have been making ceramics here for 46 years.  All ceramics are extremely durable and long-lived. All ceramics are suitable for foodstuff and can be used in electric oven, baking oven as well as in microwave.
