Fongen Mens Waterproof Sweater - Grey

This sporty and weatherproof sweater has water resistant wool, a breathable windproof liner, soft cuffs with thumb holes and two zippered front pockets. Inspired by the pattern from the famous Selbu-mitten, it’s named after the highest mountain in the Selbu area. The Fongen sweater is made with 100% Norwegian long-lasting Plover wool, and is stain resistant.

Plover wool is Dale of Norway's proprietary blend of wool produced in Norway from Norwegian sheep.  Due to this yarn’s unique qualities and consistent popularity, this wool quality has been a part of the Dale of Norway family since 1939!

Norwegian wool is one of the world’s most animal-friendly textile fibers, due to the sheep’s natural mountain life. This yarn offers an authentic look renowned for its uniquely crisp look and longevity.

To achieve an 8000 mm waterproof rating, our sweaters are knitted with Norwegian wool treated with Teflon. This treatment also adds extra dirt resistance. Our sweaters are lined with a wind proof lining made of a polyester/polyurethane blend. This provides for comfortable sweaters with high breathability, keeping you warm and dry on windy days, in light showers. Please note that these sweaters are water resistant, not waterproof.
