Vail Waterproof Mens Hoodie
Knitted with 100% Norwegian wool treated for water resistancy, and lined with a breathable windproof liner, the Vail weatherproof wool hoodie comes with a loose fit. The hoodie features a quarter zip, two zippered front pockets, hood with skin soft merino wool lining, and drawstrings in hemline and hood. A perfect companion for the great outdoors.
The Vail hoodie is made with Norwegian wool, one of the world’s most animal-friendly textile fibers. Our wool comes from sheep known for roaming freely in the vast Norwegian hillsides while grazing in natural pastures. This yarn offers an authentic look renowned for its uniquely crisp look and longevity.
To achieve an 8000 mm waterproof rating, our sweaters are knitted with Norwegian wool treated with Teflon. This treatment also adds extra dirt resistance. Our sweaters are lined with a wind proof lining made of a polyester/polyurethane blend. This provides for comfortable sweaters with high breathability, keeping you warm and dry on windy days, in light showers. Please note that these sweaters are water resistant, not waterproof.
Teflon is made from the same material used in Gore-Tex and other waterproof textiles: polytetrafluoroethylene
